I apologize for my slow response. My blog is on hiatus so I haven't been checking it very regularly. I'm certainly no expert on injuries. Physical and occupational therapists are educated and trained specifically in body mechanics so perhaps they just know, better than nurses, how to protect themselves from injury---which is your supposition. I am doing a research on why so many nurses are getting injured on the job than any other profession. There was a research that showed nurses had more back injuries than construction workers.
